Gail has done modeling among many other things. She appeared on the cover of the May-June 1999 issue of Healthquest Magazine. She has also appeared  in the Essence Magazine: January 2001 and January 2004 issues (Wisdom of the ages, Extraordinary People 19 to 90).  She made an appearance on the ABC TV show The View in March 2001 and also on the Oprah Winfrey Show on September 18, 2003. She placed 1st runner-up in the NY, NJ Ms. USA Pageant for Delaware County, PA.
