Josh Tyler Brookreson has been acting in the
Philadelphia area since 2000, after leaving a career
as a trader on the floors of the Philadelphia and
American Stock Exchange. He has performed largely at
the Brick Theater on South Street, performing several
new plays written by Philadelphia area playwrights. He
also performed at the Walnut Street Theater during the
2001 Fringe Festival in an ensemble piece called
"Lee", and at the Mum Puppet theater as 1st supporting
actor in "Jersey Boy" during the 2002 Fringe Festival.
He has also acted, written, and directed several
pieces for Fly By Night Theater and Guaranteed
Overnight Theater (two 24-hour theater projects where
plays are concieved, written, rehearsed, produced, and
performed in front of audiences in less than 24
hours).

He is also a Senior Member of Middle Earth Studios
since 1993, doing puppetry (hand puppets and
marionettes) and interactive costume story-telling.
He is a writer, a poet, singer/songwriter, and a
student of History at Temple University. Currently he is
writing his first full length play, tentatively titled "$20 Lap Dance", while also serving in First Troop Philadelphia City Cavalry, which is
part of Troop A, 104th Cav, 28th Inf, Pennsylvania
Army National Guard. His debut on screen in "Four Funny Families" was dedicated to his family, and fellow soldiers in his troop currently
serving in Bosnia.
