Olga Peters
Hasty was born in Florida of Russian parentage. The namesake
of a Russian grandmother who instilled in her a love of Russian
classics, she went on to study Russian literature, earning a
Ph.D. in the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures
at Yale University. A specialist in Russian drama and poetry,
she is currently Professor of Russian literature in the Slavic
Department of Princeton University.
